Use our halal food finder at Ummah Connect: go to the Finder, switch to Halal Food mode, and allow location access. You will see verified halal restaurants and food spots on the map. You can also search by name or filter by distance to find halal food near you.

Our masjid finder shows verified masjids and prayer spaces on a map. Open the Finder, choose Masjids mode, and we will display nearby masjids with details like address, hours, and community reviews. You can get directions and see how far each masjid is from you.
Is Ummah Connect free?
Yes. Ummah Connect is free to use. You can find halal food and masjids, read reviews, and join the community at no cost. Our goal is to make it easy for the Muslim community to discover trusted halal spots and prayer spaces.
How are locations verified?
Locations on Ummah Connect are verified through community submissions and our review process. We check that halal restaurants and masjids meet our guidelines before they appear as verified. Users can also leave reviews to help others find the best halal food and prayer spaces near them.
How do I add a halal restaurant or masjid?
You can submit a new location from our Submit page. We welcome community submissions for halal restaurants, masjids, and other halal businesses. After you submit, our team reviews the listing before it appears on the map.
What is the Halal Badge and how do I apply?
The Halal Badge helps businesses show their halal certification or evidence to the community. If you own a halal restaurant or food business, you can apply for a Halal Badge through our submission flow. We offer different levels (e.g. Certified Halal, Evidence-Based) depending on your certification.
How do I create an account?
You can sign up on Ummah Connect using your email or sign in with Google. An account lets you save favorite locations, leave reviews, and submit new halal spots or masjids. Go to Sign up from the menu to get started.
